1. Session Pricing
Balance Point Reflexology offers the following rates for 60-minute reflexology sessions:
- First Session — $65: Available to clients visiting Balance Point Reflexology for the first time.
- Returning Within 30 Days — $65: Available when a client returns within 30 calendar days of their previous completed session.
- Standard Session — $85: Applies to returning clients whose previous completed session was more than 30 days ago.
The applicable rate is determined by the client’s appointment history and verified by the practitioner at checkout.
The $65 returning-client rate may continue indefinitely, provided each subsequent session takes place within 30 calendar days of the previous completed session.
If more than 30 days have elapsed, the standard $85 rate applies. Completing that session establishes a new opportunity to qualify for the $65 returning-client rate.
All prices are in U.S. dollars.
2. Booking & Payment
A valid credit or debit card is required to secure an appointment.
No payment is collected at booking. Payment is due at the conclusion of the session.
Accepted payment methods include:
- Credit and debit cards
- Cash
- Checks
- Eligible HSA/FSA cards
- Balance Point Reflexology gift certificates
The practitioner will verify the applicable session rate and collect payment at checkout.
By accepting the booking terms and providing a valid payment card, the client authorizes Balance Point Reflexology to charge the card on file for applicable late cancellation and no-show fees as described in this policy. Payment information is handled through the practice’s scheduling and payment-processing providers.
Providing a card at booking does not constitute advance payment for the session.
3. Cancellation & Rescheduling
Appointments may be canceled or rescheduled without charge when at least 24 hours’ notice is provided.
Appointments canceled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours’ notice are subject to a fee equal to 100% of the applicable session rate. The applicable rate is determined according to the pricing terms in Section 1, based on the client’s eligibility for the scheduled appointment.
4. No-Shows
A client who does not attend a scheduled appointment and has not canceled in advance is considered a no-show.
No-shows are subject to a fee equal to 100% of the applicable session rate, charged to the card on file. The applicable rate is determined according to the pricing terms in Section 1, based on the client’s eligibility for the scheduled appointment.
Late cancellation and no-show fees compensate the practice for time reserved and unavailable to other clients.
5. Late Arrivals
Clients are encouraged to arrive on time.
Late arrival may result in a shortened session to avoid affecting subsequent appointments. The full applicable session rate remains due.
If a client arrives too late for the session to be provided, the appointment may be considered a missed appointment and the applicable no-show fee may be charged.
6. Returning-Client Rate Eligibility
To qualify for the $65 returning-client rate, the next session must actually take place within 30 calendar days of the previous completed session. Booking within that period does not extend eligibility if the appointment itself occurs after the 30-day window.
Completed sessions paid by cash, check, card, HSA/FSA card, or gift certificate count toward eligibility.
Canceled appointments and no-shows do not count as completed sessions and do not establish, renew, or extend eligibility for the $65 returning-client rate, even when a cancellation or no-show fee is charged.
The first-session rate is available only once per client.
7. HSA/FSA Payments
Balance Point Reflexology accepts HSA/FSA payment cards when the payment is supported by the client’s account and card issuer.
Acceptance of an HSA/FSA card does not establish that reflexology is an eligible expense under the client’s particular plan.
Clients are responsible for verifying eligibility, obtaining any required documentation, and complying with their plan’s requirements.
Some plans may require a Letter of Medical Necessity from an appropriate medical provider.
Upon request, Balance Point Reflexology can provide an itemized receipt for reimbursement or recordkeeping purposes.
The practice does not guarantee reimbursement or payment eligibility. Clients remain responsible for payment if an HSA/FSA transaction is declined or reversed.
8. Itemized Receipts
Clients may request an itemized receipt showing the date of service, service description, amount paid, and relevant practitioner and business information.
Receipts may be used when submitting reimbursement requests to eligible benefit administrators.
Balance Point Reflexology does not submit insurance claims or guarantee reimbursement.
9. Gift Certificates
Balance Point Reflexology offers $85 dollar-value gift certificates.
Gift certificates represent a prepaid monetary value that may be applied toward reflexology services at the recipient’s applicable session rate.
For example:
- A first-time client receiving a $65 session may redeem $65 from an $85 gift certificate, leaving a $20 balance.
- A client eligible for the $65 returning-client rate may similarly retain a $20 balance.
- A client receiving an $85 standard session may redeem the full $85 certificate.
Any unused balance remains available for future services.
Gift certificates do not expire.
Gift certificates are not redeemable for cash except where required by Washington law, including cash redemption upon request when the remaining balance is less than $5.
Gift certificate purchases are generally non-refundable except where required by law.
Previously issued gift certificates remain valid, and their remaining monetary value will be honored.
Sessions paid in whole or in part with a gift certificate count toward eligibility for the $65 returning-client rate.
10. Refunds
Payment for completed reflexology services is generally non-refundable, except where required by law.
Gift certificate purchases and remaining balances are handled in accordance with Section 9 and applicable Washington law.
Any payment error or duplicate charge will be reviewed and corrected as appropriate.
11. Previously Earned Rewards
Rewards legitimately earned under a previous Balance Point Reflexology rewards program will be honored according to the terms in effect when they were earned.
Previously earned rewards cannot be combined with the current $65 discounted session rates unless expressly authorized by the practice, subject to the original reward terms and applicable law.
The previous rewards program is no longer offered for new qualifying visits.
12. Appointments for Minors
Clients under 18 require written consent from a parent or legal guardian before receiving reflexology services.
A parent or legal guardian must be present at the beginning of the first appointment and remain on the premises throughout each session. Parents or guardians are welcome to remain in the treatment room.
Sessions are adapted to the minor’s comfort, preferences, and willingness to participate.
A minor may request a pause or end the session at any time.
13. Accessibility
The Balance Point Reflexology office is accessible by stairs and is not currently wheelchair accessible.
Clients with accessibility needs are encouraged to contact the practice before scheduling to discuss whether suitable arrangements may be available.
14. Scope of Practice
Balance Point Reflexology provides reflexology as a complementary wellness service within the scope of Washington State reflexology practice.
Reflexology is not a substitute for medical evaluation, diagnosis, or treatment.
Clients should continue to seek appropriate medical care for health concerns.
15. Policy Acknowledgment
By completing a booking and affirmatively accepting the appointment terms, clients acknowledge the published session rates and the requirement to provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule.
Clients expressly authorize Balance Point Reflexology to charge the payment card on file for late cancellations or no-shows, up to 100% of the applicable session rate ($65 or $85), as described in this policy.
Balance Point Reflexology may update this policy from time to time. Changes do not retroactively alter the terms of previously purchased gift certificates or previously earned rewards.
16. In-Home Reflexology Sessions
In-home reflexology sessions are offered on a limited, exceptional basis, primarily to accommodate clients with accessibility or mobility challenges that make attending an office appointment difficult.
These appointments are available by private arrangement only, subject to practitioner availability, location, scheduling, and safety considerations.
Balance Point Reflexology reserves the right to accept or decline requests for in-home appointments, consistent with applicable law.
In-home reflexology sessions are arranged individually, with pricing determined by the nature of the appointment, travel requirements, and any special arrangements agreed upon with the client. The total price is confirmed before the appointment.
Published office-session rates do not apply to privately arranged in-home sessions.
Completed in-home reflexology sessions count toward eligibility for the $65 returning-client rate for subsequent office appointments, provided the office appointment takes place within 30 calendar days of the previous completed session.
Special pricing or complimentary sessions may occasionally be offered by individual arrangement. Such offers apply only to the clients and appointments for which they were expressly agreed and do not establish an ongoing or generally available promotion.
In-home appointments remain subject to the applicable cancellation and no-show provisions of this policy, with fees based on the individually agreed appointment price.
